Roseanna Ruane has detailed ‘one of the hardest’ days as the family attended the graduation mass at Saoírse’s primary school. The Toy Show star passed away following a tough battle with cancer earlier this year, with her mum sharing updates on their journey through grief via social media. Sharing a series of photos including Saoírse’s graduation certificate and a picture of her graduation cap by her graveside, Roseanna confirmed that the celebration had been ‘wonderful.

’ ‘I won’t lie, it was incredibly heartbreaking,’ she added, ‘It wasn’t our best moment arriving with one tissue between us but some amazing people were in the wings with the Kleenex.’ ‘We were very taken with how beautiful the mass was & how Saoírse included. As we arrived her name was spelled out in large letters across a large peoster alongside little photos of her friends.

The final daily roll call was called out, with each student standing up as they were called out and having their graduation cap placed on their head.
