By Helene Stapinski Whenever we were late paying our gas and electric bill, I would have to go with my mother to Journal Square in Jersey City and stand online with her at the PSE&G building. She would pay the bill in person so our heat would not be turned off. Jersey City cannot afford Pompidou Museum, which will cost tens, if not hundreds, of millions of dollars.
Jersey City has immediate concerns: property tax & rent stabilization, Pershing Field Ice Rink, recreation facilities, & repair of our schools. We must live within our means. pic.
