Just in time for the summer months with the sunnier days now here, an expert has warned that there is a potential that the chemicals can damage the ecosystem in your garden, your patio, or your favourite plants.

Whilst one trick is to spray vinegar to remove weeds , this isn't always advisable as the acid can damage the surface of the stones, particularly limestone or concrete pavers, as well as being harmful to wildlife and plants. To help, patio experts at Amstrong Cheshire have said all you need is boiling water with it being dubbed "the perfect solution to removing weeds from your patio." The reason this trick works is that the hot water scalds the weeds by killing the leaves which is what gathers light to help the weeds grow and remain strong.
