IF you get sunburned easily, this two-step treatment technique may be worth bookmarking. One woman revealed the DIY trick she uses to reduce the redness of her skin. Commenting on a post , user Subprincessthrway explained that she has suffered some bad sunburns in the past.

"I am not a doctor just a pale lady who burns a lot," she clarified before sharing her favorite hack. The poster shared the kitchen staple she swears by to soothe her skin. "The best thing you can do right now is to get some tea bags and let them steep till the water is almost black," she explained.



"Put that in the fridge and apply it to your face once chilled." The experts at WebMD discussed the effectiveness of teabags in treating sunburns. Instead of using a traditional black breakfast tea, they suggested opting for chamomile.

"Chamomile tea has anti-inflammatory properties that can alleviate sunburn," they explained. "Brew some for you to drink — which will also help soothe your entire body — and save some to cool, soak on a washcloth and apply directly to the affected area." The Reddit user also emphasized the importance of keeping your skin hydrated.

"As others have said, make sure you use lots of moisturizers," she wrote. As well as soothing her skin, the Reddit user shared her trick for covering up bad burns. "A good green cover-up from the drugstore is the stick one from Maybelline it looks like lipstick but it's a pale-ish green," she said.
