AN ICONIC Glasgow building has been saved by the boss of a major chain. The Venetian-style warehouse once hosted rock star Jon Bon Jovi when he came to the city in 1995. Other businesses took over the space but it has now been empty for over ten years. It sits right next to the iconic Hielanman's Umbrella at Glasgow Central Station .

He said: "The plan is to bring the building back to life which is great for the area and the city centre in general. "It has been closed and empty for so long, which is a shame considering how iconic the building is and how beautiful it is.
