AN iconic Ford Sierra Rs Cosworth that is nearly 40 years old with surprisingly low mileage is now set to go for a six figure price. The beast's famous 2.0 turbocharged engine will take it to 60 in just 6.2 seconds and will reach a top speed of 149mph.

The motor is in immaculate condition, with sumptuous Ford Roma Grey Recaro seats and grey pile carpets. And the 80s classic is still a looker thanks to the front bumper, nose panel, wheel arch extensions and legendary rear spoiler. In the 80s the Cosworth was seen as a sports car with a common touch due to its accessible price point.

Ordinary blokes could aspire to buy one, unlike Aston Martins and Ferraris which were the preserve of the superrich. JF Classic Cars Ltd has listed the limited edition beauty for £136,995. Last month KGF Classic Cars, in Peterborough listed an RS500 for an astonishing £350,000.
