A BEAUTY fan has shared the drugstore makeup that got her through a hot wedding in Italy. She explained that the affordable money-saving picks proved to be budge-proof when she needed them to be. Redditor Blubasile shared the makeup recommendations in a viral post.
"I went to a very hot wedding without A/C in Italy recently, and I also tend to get sweaty," they said. "My skin is more normal/combo than super oily, but these are some of the products I wore, and my makeup didn't move." They revealed that they prepped their skin with Elf's Poreless Putty Primer and their eyelids with Wet n Wild's Photofocus Eyeshadow Primer.
For their base makeup, they opted for Maybelline's Instant Age Rewind Concealer. For all-day eyeliner, they used Maybelline's Tattoo Studio Waterproof Gel Liner in their waterline and Maybelline's Hyper Easy Waterproof Liquid Liner on their lids. Essence Lash Princess False Lash Effect Mascara on their lashes didn't smudge under the Italian heat.
"I tend to get either teary-eyed or oily in the corners of my eyes, so I always take care to bake that area," they added. The Redditor used Wet n Wild's Photofocus Loose Banana powder to set all their makeup. To lock everything in, they finished off with L'Oreal's Infallible Pro-Spray and Set Makeup Extender setting spray.
"I sprayed generously before leaving the house, partially dried with a fan, and then pressed it in with my beauty blender," they said. "My face didn't move an inch, AND it really melted the makeup .
