AN EX-NURSE who only had £4.20 in her pocket now goes on 21 holidays a year, owns five companies and earns her former salary in a week. Kim Calvert’s clever side hustle, where she mentors small business owners, has turned into a booming business in just six years.
In 2018 she was “desperate for each pay day to arrive” following the breakdown of a relationship which left her struggling for money. Kim, who grew up near Belfast, spent all her money trying to make herself happy, leaving her barely able to afford to buy proper food for her pet Jack Russell terriers, Roxy and Rex. She says things hit rock bottom around the time she went on her first date with now wife Lyndsay.
