WE'RE all guilty of trying out new beauty trends when they go viral on social media, but one woman has proved why you shouldn't do it the day before work. Sally Marie took to social media to show the hilarious fail she had after trying the viral heatless curl hack. In the clip, Sally revealed that she embarked on the hair tutorial at 10pm at night with work at 8am the next day.

The risky hair style saw the beauty fan put her hair into fabric rollers and then in a silk bonnet to keep them in place while she slept through the night. The next morning, she thought she would wake up with bouncy curls without spending hours on her look - but it didn't quite go to plan. "Never start a vintage hair tutorial at 10pm.

Mistakes all my own," she said. The next day, she woke up and began to unravel the heatless curls but was left horrified with hr new curls. Instead of getting the glossy bouncy waves she saw all over social media - her hair had gone frizzy with tight curls.

Sally decided to try and solve the problem by brushing the curls out for a more relaxed look but it only made the problem worse. The next image saw her her huge curly hair that wouldn't look at of place in the 1600s. She then attached a picture of Sir Cloudsley Shovell, a British naval officer with huge bouncy curls and the similarities were uncanny.

"Are you becoming Sir Cloudsley Shovell?!" she wrote. "Mayhaps," she added. In the end, Sally revealed she put her hair into a very bushy ponytail so she could go to work .
