A woman who tried the world's bestselling eyelash serum says it made her eyelashes grow so long, she ended up having to trim them. In an attempt to grow her self-confessed 'non-existent' eyelashes, Kate Lally, a reporter at the Liverpool Echo, decided to give UKLash's bestselling Eyelash Serum a go. The award-winning serum's unique formula is fortified with Vitamin B5 (Panthenol), Green Tea extract, and Myristoyl Pentapeptide-17, an amino acid peptide, which are known for stimulating keratin growth.

The serum promises to give visibly longer lashes in as little as 25 days. UKLash is so popular , one product from its line sells every 30 seconds worldwide. But does it really live up to the hype? While some people are seemingly born with thick, full, dark lashes, I was not in this category. Even with layers of mascara my eyelashes were barely visible and I spent a good seven years getting semi-permanent lashes applied every few weeks. Those falsies were my war paint, and I hated going anywhere if I didn't - for some reason - have them on.
