AN Irish fashion fan has told how she bagged an amazing dress dupe at her local charity shop - and she "can't believe it". Sustainable fashionista Aoife Nolan showed off her stunning €7.50 bargain buy on TikTok.
The maxi dress Aoife snagged is a beautiful shade of red. And it bares a striking resemblance to a designer dress costing over €280. The Ganni Ruffled Cotton-Poplin Midi Dress retails for €285 in Harvey Nichols - and it looks almost identical to the charity shop find.
Aoife's dupe has a long flowing maxi skirt with tiered layers - similar to the Ganni design. The bodice is smocked allowing for extra comfort and stretch especially during the warmer summer months. The star of the show is undoubtedly the off the shoulder detailing.
The embroidered frills sit across the chest and shoulders in a very flattering way. According to the Ganni websites description: "This Red Cotton Poplin Long Smock Dress is designed for a regular fit with a ruffled off-shoulder neckline, smock bodice and two straps." The ruffles across the Ganni dress bare a strong likeness to the those on Aoife's thrifted piece.
The Ganni piece is available in size XS to L and is made of 100% cotton. Aoife couldn't contain her excitement with the find "As soon as I saw it I had to get it. "It’s so perfect for summer!" Aoife is an avid charity shopper as she is passionate about sustainable fashion.
She said: "I definitely think it's so important to shop more sustainably nowadays. "Plus you honestly nev.
