A DIY fan has revealed that she lives in a council house but you can never tell thanks to her simple tricks. 25-year-old Celene Francis, a single mother who lives in a two-bedroom house in Rotherham with her young daughter , has given her council property a mega makeover, all whilst on a budget . With not much money to spare, the student midwife and mental health support worker has shared how she gave her home a stylish transformation on the cheap , leaving many open-mouthed.

99 a roll, Celene was able to give her plain table a chic new look . Celene beamed: “Love a simple upcycle using vinyl wrap.” In the short clip, Celene demonstrated how she stuck the self-adhesive vinyl wrap to her table.

She used scissors to cut the durable, water and heat resistant marble-effect film to size and then used a card to smooth out any air bubbles. When it came to doing the corners, Celene explained: “I honestly just winged it! “I cut it at an angle and fitted them around if that makes sense.” The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @ 61thecouncilhouse , has clearly impressed many, as it has quickly amassed 50,800 views.
