One characteristic many viewers voiced was Finan's cool demeanor and accuracy. While conditions outside could be rocky, Finan calmly explained what they could expect in a direct, reassuring manner. "The one thing I appreciate is that you were never dramatic during a weather emergency.
Just the facts is what you gave us!! Thank you!" said CJ Brobeck-Miles on Facebook. "I think what I'm going to miss about Mark is he was so thorough so accurate and so passionate about delivering the weather to us daily. We knew exactly what to expect, what was to come-- if it was in the winter with the storms coming or if it was in the summer with the heat coming.
Mark didn't mix words he let us know exactly what was coming. I always enjoyed watching him on KCRA 3. I look forward to the weather with Mark and we will miss him but excited for him to adventure out and enjoy his life.
Job well done Mark, thank you," said Deanna Edmondson on Facebook. "We will miss Mark’s professional and enthusiastic approach to the weather! My favorite memory was when they rescued the dog Rodeo on the roof during the 1997 Yuba .
