A HUGE waterpark has been labelled as both "one of the best in Europe" and "pure happiness" by visitors amazed by its size, variety and value for money. It can be difficult to keep kids entertained during the summer holidays, but waterparks are usually a pretty safe bet. One in a popular city break destination offers kids plenty of pools and slides to play on, while also providing places for parents to relax and unwind.
Aquaworld resort is just outside of Budapest in Hungary and is well-known for its huge variety of pools and slides. It has 15 pools altogether, most of which are indoors, although a couple are found outdoor, and open during the summer months. They include an indoor and outdoor adventure pool, a wave pool, indoor and outdoor kids' pools, a heated indoor swimming pool, a four-metre-deep plunge pool with diving board and two huge jacuzzis.
More outdoor swimming can be enjoyed between May and October when the Beach is open to visitors. It features two additional children's pools, a 25-meter swimming pool, sun loungers, playgrounds and the country's largest water playground, the Aqua Spray Park. Meanwhile, there's also a total of 1km worth of slides for people to enjoy, ranging from relaxing splashes to fast thrill rides for more excitable visitors.
They include the likes of Mountain River, a more gentle ride in a rubber ring and the family slide, which is suitable for pretty much everybody. Other slides include the UFO and Rainbow, both of which are two person sli.
