Travel's list of the best holiday parks in the UK, and it's easy to see why with four stars for customer service and quality of accommodation. The prime location is in the heart of the forest, with the enchanted world of Puzzlewood just a short drive or bike ride away.
And if you don't fancy the stress of bringing your own bike then there's plenty available to rent from Forest Holidays. There's also plenty to do in the holiday park itself, with horse-riding, llama treks and archery all available to try, and if you'd rather relax on your staycation, there's a hot tub in every cabin, and spa treatments available. Also nearby is the Silver Circle Gin Distillery, where you can enjoy some tastings and even make your own gin.
Guests who have stayed at the holiday park have left rave reviews on the Forest Holidays' website, with one writing: "Such a lovely setting. So peaceful but still plenty to do and see. Very comfortable cabin, fabulous hot tub and it feels like you are the only ones there.
