Kaizer Chiefs are believed to be moments away from announcing assistant coach Fernando Da Cruz ahead of next season. Da Cruz is believed to be the man that incoming coach Nasreddine Nabi has requested Chiefs to appoint for him. Nabi’s announcement is also expected to be imminent, and this publication reported that Da Cruz is expected in the country.

The Frenchman is expected to handle the first couple of days of the Chiefs preseason, laying the groundwork for the Tunisian veteran. Now, in what seems like a confirmation of his move to Amakhosi, he has taken to Instagram to say goodbye. Da Cruz pens farewell letter to AS FAR “It’s time for me to say goodbye and thank you for the time I spent with you! My adventure will be full of encounters and emotions! With these few words, I wanted to thank, General Haramou and President Ayoubi, for the confidence they have placed in me in my various roles and missions.

Thanks to Colonel Major Malek for his collaboration and daily availability, which will have been valuable to me at the training center. Thanks to all of my staff, especially Hicham, Ayman and Hassan who accompanied me. You have allowed me to enrich myself professionally and grow as a man! A deep friendship is born.

Thanks to all the players I’ve worked with! Your involvement and performances symbolize the most beautiful rewards in my eyes. Thanks to you, I was able to live fantastic emotions and moments! Thanks to the trainers of the training center, Soufiane, Azzedin.
