Henry Cavill isn’t a father yet, but he's celebrating Father’s Day anyway with a sweet question for dads. Cavill, who confirmed he and his girlfriend, Natalie Viscuso, were expecting their first child back in April, shared a selfie on June 16 posing in a nursery with a crib in the background. In the caption, he reflected on his impending fatherhood and asked his followers for advice.
“Oh yeah...
..and Happy Father’s Day ye dads out there.
Turns out I shall be joining your hallowed ranks soon! Any tips? “And don’t worry, pillows won’t be in the crib when the wee one arrives, just glue and scapels so he or she can build Warhammer miniatures,” Cavill joked. Viscuso reshared Cavill’s post on her Instagram story and penned a touching note about her boyfriend ahead of the birth of their child. “Happy, happy Father’s Day to the soon to be father of my first child!” she wrote.
“Overflowing with love and excitement over here!” Cavill confirmed he and Viscuso were expecting a child at the New York City premiere of “The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare” on April 15. When asked by if his co-star Henry Golding, who is a father of two, inspired him to “take on fatherhood” in his “next chapter,” Cavill said his parents were his main source of inspiration. “I’m very excited about it.
Natalie and I are both very excited,” he said. “I’m sure you’ll see much more of that.” Cavill and Viscuso have remained relatively low-key during the course.
