THE young Limerick woman who lost her life in a horror dog attack on Tuesday night has been remembered as a "kind, gentle and beautiful girl". Tragic Nicole Morey was mauled to death by her dogs - all of which were restricted breeds - outside her home in Ballyneety after she returned from celebrating her 23rd birthday . The four mutts — understood to be two XL Bullies and two Staffordshire Bull Terriers — were “extremely aggressive” at the property when first responders arrived around 11pm.
The Regional Armed Support Unit shot the XL Bully believed to have been responsible for the incident as it continued to pose a threat to emergency workers.
