Chicago-based Evergreen Real Estate Group completed the three-story 120-unit home for low-income seniors. The assisted living community at 2550 W. Morthland Drive is for seniors at least 62 years of age with incomes of less than 60% of the area median.
It includes 72 one-bedroom apartments and 48 studio apartments. Green Oaks of Valparaiso is licensed by the Indiana Department of Health as a residential care facility and by the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration as an assisted living Medicaid-waiver provider.
