The three-day Goa Heritage Festival 2024, organised by the Department of Tourism, Government of Goa, concluded on a high note, drawing large crowds of locals and tourists. The festival aimed to celebrate and showcase Goa’s diverse cultural heritage through an array of stalls highlighting Goan craftsmanship, featuring intricate handmade items and traditional art forms. It celebrated the timeless beauty of Goan culture, from the elegant movements of traditional dances to the delicious flavours of authentic cuisine.
The inaugural day featured performances by renowned bands Sky High and Pure Magic, along with a traditional fashion show and enchanting dances by the Kanta Gaude Group. Day two continued to thrill with performances by Goa’s Pride, Hema Sardessai, LYNX, Tidal Wave, 24K India, Truly Yours, and Archies, providing attendees with an unforgettable musical experience alongside traditional dance, mimicry, and comedy acts. Also, the festival showcased a vibrant literary and visual arts scene, with book stalls and a photo gallery displaying Goa’s artistic heritage.
