Thursday, July 11, 2024 Russia has announced a groundbreaking visa-free travel policy for citizens of 61 countries. This initiative aims to make Russia more accessible and attractive to international travelers, enhancing its tourism industry and global relations. The new visa-free policy will soon enable tourists to enter Russia without a visa.

This effort is part of Russia’s broader strategy to revitalize its tourism sector, which has seen substantial growth in recent years. By eliminating visa barriers, Russia aims to attract a diverse range of visitors. In the first quarter of 2024, Russia saw nearly 218,800 foreign tourists, marking a significant surge in international arrivals.



This increase reflects the positive impact of Russia’s new visa-free initiative, making it easier for travelers to experience the country’s rich cultural heritage and diverse landscapes. The initiative is expected to sustain this growth, reinforcing Russia’s position as a sought-after destination.
