A former Tennent's Lager Lovelies model from who appeared on beer cans brought her pet chicken with her to the polling station. Karen Flynn brought the bird, called , to vote near her home in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. The former model, who featured on around 20 million cans and a calendar during the campaign, posted the picture on social media with a sign saying 'Ricky Flynn, This is Your Poll Card'.

Posting the pictures on X, formally Twitter, she said: "Get out and vote #Aylesbury #Buckinghamshire #ButlerOut #CocksAtPollingStations Ricky's been out already." Social media users loved the post, with one person writing: "Absolutely brilliant! Love it." Another said: "Now, Ricky would cause a sensation at any polling station I think.
