I'm going to start this with an apology - I am so sorry to tell you that I have just been on one of the best trips of my life...
travelling through the Caribbean on a luxury super yacht ! This is the type of holiday that dreams are made of. This dream I took was aboard Emerald Sakara, my luxury home away from home for 15 days. The Emerald Cruises journey took me through some of the Caribbean's ultimate hotspots - and with over 7000 islands, there were lots to choose from.

We pulled up at St Pierre, which was almost wiped off the map in the early 1900s when a volcano erupted, but now it's home to some beautiful historical sites.
Our next destination was Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, and its smallest inhabited island of Mayreau. With a beautiful hilltop church and a secluded beach, there's nothing flashy about this island but it was the perfect spot to spend an afternoon. Bequia is another of the Grenadines but it's much larger than Mayreau, with more to do.
A must-do is a visit to Princess Margaret Beach and Jack's Beach Bar before taking the coast-hugging wooden walkway back to the port. Our final stop in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines was the Tobago Cays, an archipelago of uninhabited islands in the south. We stopped at the largest of the cays, Petit Bateau, for an amazing beac.
