The Sunderland-born star, 50, grew up on a council estate and sadly lost his dad in a tragic water-skiing accident when he was just seven years old . He decided he wanted to become an architect aged 12, after spending time around building sites during school holidays as his grandfathers were both builders.
He went on to gain a First Class Honours degree in Architectural Studies from Newcastle University School Of Architecture, Planning And Landscape, renovating people's homes in his spare time. But now it seems George's fans are also feeling the love for his 21 year old son, Georgie. The architect shares Georgie and son Emilio, 18 as well as daughter Iona, 16, with his ex-wife Catriona Drummond .
Back in April, George shared a snap of Georgie wearing a Sunderland Football Club kit on his 21st birthday, saying: "HAPPY 21ST BIRTHDAY to my beautiful son GEORGIE! Born on St.George’s Day 2003. Time really has flown.
Have a fantastic day Georgie. WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH AND WE ARE SO PROUD OF YOU XXX." Fans rushed to the comments to wish Georgie many happy returns, with many all saying the same thing – how much the birthday boy loo.
