Gardeners' World star Sue Kent was praised for her 'ingenious' washing hack after sharing how she does it with her upper limb disability. The gardening expert is a regular on out TV screens after joining the BBC Two show as a presenter in 2021. Sue was born with arms eight inches long, no thumbs and seven fingers - three on one hand, four on the other.

Her upper limb disability is as a result of her mother being prescribed Thalidomide for morning sickness. Sue, an RHS ambassador for disability inclusions, shared her technique for hanging her washing out on Instagram. she explained: "I love my lawn with its cut grass.
