July 6,1984-June 17, 2024 Roberto 'Chase' Garcia, age 39, went to be with the Lord on June 17th, 2024. Chase was born on July 6th, 1984, in Bryan, Texas. He was a father, son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend.
Chase was a man who knew no stranger, and with that charisma and persona, he truly shared his joy with everyone he encountered of which is often credited to his Grandma Garcia who he referred to as his beloved "Ma." His energy and contagious laugh were a gift shared with many throughout his journey here on Earth. Chase had a passion of cooking that he often got to showcase to others professionally or personally when caring for those he treasured with having prepared his food for them.
Throughout his life, golf was always a center to his world. He adored the Master's and often considered it the most wonderful time of year. He held many things near and dear to his heart, but Chase loved and adored his Texas A&M Aggies, having often spent childhood weekends in Aggieland with his family.
Family, that was the column that Chase was built upon and what was most important to him always. His heart was evident, his loyalty was unwavering, and his love truly knew no bounds. Chase is survived by his parents, Maria G.
Chavez, and Roberto "Bobby" Garcia (and wife, Sheila). He is also survived by his siblings, Alica Rae Garcia, Laura Royal, Alec Murff, and William B. Shinn.
