The Derry Ladies Gaelic Football board have expressed their 'deepest sympathy' to the family of minor and senior county star Shannon Harkin after the tragic passing of her little sister at the weekend. The Oak Leaf ladies match away to Fermanagh on Sunday was postponed after four-year-old Fianna Grace Harkin sadly died at Tirruadh Road, where she lived in Draperstown in Co Derry, on Saturday. Tributes have poured in for the young girl, described as "mummy's snuggle buggle" by her mother, Karen Harkin.
Karen is also well-known in the GAA community and is LGFA secretary for the Balinascreen club.
