Bula The drug situation in Fiji has overtaken us, says Opposition MP and former police commissioner Ioane Naivalurua. He questioned police and government whether their effort matched the crisis or not. Mr Naivalurua suggested the establishment of a joint Parliament committee to look into the implementation and progress of the National Narcotics Counter Strategy.

To successfully retain their seats, they must join a political party, he insists.
