A jukebox musical based on a hit film from the 1980s in coming to Ipswich. An Officer and a Gentleman will be at the Ipswich Regent Theatre from Tuesday, September 10 until Saturday, September 14. The show is based off the 1982 film starring Richard Gere and Debra Winger and showcases the emotional journey of young officer Zack Mayo and Paula Pokrifki, whose fiery spirit matches his own.
Their encounters ignite a spark that transcends boundaries and awakens a passionate love that defies all odds. Previously speaking about the tour, director Nikolai Foster said: "We are proud to be working alongside the film's creator Douglas Day Stewart, producer Jamie Wilson, Sharleen Cooper Cohen and an incredible creative team to present this beautiful and inspiring story.
