Voters in Kilkenny can nab a free Oatly coffee on their way to the polls on Friday (June 7). Oatly, the world’s original and largest oat drink company, is partnering with an independent coffee shop in Kilkenny to give away free coffees made with Oatly oat drink. The free coffees will be available at Low Lane on Kieran’s Street in Kilkenny City to those on their way to or from voting stations, while stocks last.

Low Lane Coffee, which opened in July 2022, is excited to be reopening on the day after a period of beautiful renovations. The team at Low Lane are inviting you to call out, enjoy a free drink and make your voice heard! The promotion comes as Oatly calls on business leaders in Europe to take action for higher voter turnout in this year’s EU election, which comes at a crucial moment for climate and society. Research from the Global Strategic Communications Council (GSCC) shows that just 51% of eligible voters in Ireland are predicted to visit the ballot boxes on June 7.

The free, oat-based coffees will be made with Oatly Barista Edition – the #1 selling dairy alternative drink in Ireland. As part of this special campaign, Low Lane will be giving away 200 free oat milk drinks, generously donated by Oatly, to customers who have cast their vote!.
