Last July, mum-of-two Jennifer Roscoe passed away with a glioblastoma brain tumour after a courageous four year battle with cancer. Mum to Emmy and Aria, Jennifer raised more than £2,000 for the Brain Tumour Research charity while battling with cancer, and her husband David described her as an "inspirational mum who changed so many people's lives with her journey". Following Jennifer's tragic passing, her friends Gary and Lisa Crickson have followed in her fundraising footsteps and will host their second 'Warrior Games' at the Forge Fitness gym next month.

Taking place on Saturday August 3, the Warrior Games will be a day of competitive events for entrants, tests of strength of fitness, and prizes to be won, all in aid money for Brain Tumour Research. Gary said: ‘It’s not just a fundraiser for us, although that is incredibly important, it is about remembering Jen, her unwavering spirit, her tenacity and her fight against this devastating cancer.
