Now, viewers have been treated to an early look at the kids in the famous family all grown up..
. and it’s still going to take some getting used to for us. It’s been eight years since the last Christmas special aired, and a whopping 10 since the final episode of the programme’s fifth series was released, having originally aired from 2007 to 2014.
Tyger Drew-Honey, Daniel Roche and Ramona Marquez – who played Jake, Ben and Karen Brockman respectively – are now 28, 24 and 23 years old, after growing up in front of the nation’s eyes. In a new clip released by Comic Relief on YouTube for their Rewind series, the on-screen siblings reminisced about their time on the hilarious show, before cracking up over a clip from a previous special. They each look worlds apart from their characters on the BBC comedy series, sporting different hairstyles and of course, being way taller than their younger selves.
