This was just ahead of the Rugby World Cup in 2023, when Siya led the Springboks to defeat the All Blacks and become double Rugby World Cup champions in October. The reason for the Kolisi family moving to France was because Siya joined Paris-based rugby team Racing92. Before joining Racing92, Siya played for The Sharks.
So, he and his family lived in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. The Springboks lost against Ireland this past weekend at Hollywoodbets Kings Park on Saturday 13 July. Next, the Springboks will clash against Portugal in Bloemfontein this Saturday 20 July.
