As a Bridgerton fan, I know I am not the only one incredibly frustrated over Netflix's decision to cut the latest season into two parts. Regardless of whether you feel the period drama has lost its romantic charm or you find Colin's new persona "cringe," the last episode of part one would have left you at the edge of your seat begging for more. Bridgerton premiered on Netflix in December 2020 and has since grasped the attention of viewers all over the world.

The series is based on Julia Quinn's bestselling historical romance novels which follow the lives of the Bridgerton siblings who fall in love with other characters in the aristocratic world. Season 3 part 1 was released on May 13 and pursues the highly anticipated friends-to-lovers arc between Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton. However, Netflix has left fans heartbroken by choosing to split the season into two parts with only four episodes in the first release.
