Erich Anderson is being hailed as an “acting great” in the wake of his cancer death aged 67. The passing of the ‘Felicity’ and ‘Thirtysomething’ star was announced by his actress wife Saxon Trainor, 60, who shared the news on her Instagram. She said on Tuesday (04.

06.24): “My husband Erich died this morning. I am sharing my brother-in-law Michael O’Malley’s words as I am too bereft now to write anything.



” Michael’s words were added to Saxon’s post, which read: “My brother-in-law Erich Anderson passed this morning after a brutal struggle with cancer.” Journalism for the curious Australian across politics, business, culture and opinion. Michael went on to list some of the many highlights of Erich’s career, saying: “He was on that old show ‘Thirtysomething’; he was Felicity’s father on ‘Felicity’; he was killed in a basement in a ‘Friday the 13th’ movie.

’” He also said Erich had a role in ‘Star Trek’ before adding: “He was a smart and funny guy, a fantastic cook; he wrote three great novels which you can find on Amazon. “I’ll miss him but his ordeal is over.” Along with Erich playing main character Felicity’s dad in the self-titled TV comedy from the late-1990s, Erich was Rob Dier in ‘Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter’.

He had stayed out of the limelight in recent years and his last film was the 2020 short, ‘Those Who Wait’. Fans of the actor have flooded the comment section of Saxon’s post with their mem.
