Bhagwan Ram is always a topic of discussion in our country. After the construction of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya on January 22 this year, this discussion has increased. There is also a Ram Mandir in Jaipur, which is 130 years old.
It took about 19 years to install the murti of Bhagwan Ram there. This Mandir is built on the lines of Kanak Bhawan in Ayodhya. Jaipur is called Chhoti Kashi.
The reason for this is that you will find an ancient temple on almost every road. One of these is the Ramchandra Mandir of Bhagwan Shri Ram, located in Chandpol Bazar. This is the oldest Ram Mandir in Jaipur, founded in 1894.
At 130 years old, it is one of the grand temples of Jaipur. Its beauty is especially worth seeing at night. This Mandir in Chandpol Bazaar was built by Gulab Kanwar, the wife of Maharaja Sai Ramsingh of Jaipur.
There are five magnificent chowks in it, which make four moons in the beauty of the Mandir. The statue of Bhagwan Ram seated in this Mandir is made according to the constellation. It took 18 years, 9 months and 24 days to make.
It used to be made only once a month. So, it took 18 years to prepare this murti. The most unique thing about this Mandir is that it is built on the lines of Kanak Bhawan in Ayodhya.
The walls of this Mandir are beautifully carved, depicting the 24 incarnations of Jagmohan Vishnuji. Additionally, images of Nagfani and Singhmukh have been created. The entire Mandir complex is decorated with murals that are amazing and beautiful to look at.
