Leah Harrison, 10, was killed while on an educational forest walk at Carlton Bank on Wednesday, May 22, just days after finishing her SAT exams. Following the tragic incident, North Yorkshire Police and a Health and Safety executive announced it would carry out a joint investigation into her death.

According to Leah's family member Melissa Mullen, the youngster had always dreamed of playing for the Lionesses. In recognition of this, fans attending St. James' Park for England's UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 qualifier against France this weekend have been asked by the FA to come together in the 10th minute to honour the schoolgirl's life.
