In a twist that's had viewers on the edge of their seats, Belle Dingle (played by Eden Taylor-Draper) has been embroiled in a harrowing domestic abuse plot with her new hubby Tom (portrayed by James Chase). The pair, who were old flames, reignited their spark last year and quickly got hitched.
But it's been far from wedded bliss as Tom, son of the notorious Carl King, turned abusive towards Belle. The situation took a dark turn when Tom found out Belle had an abortion after initially lying about having a miscarriage, sending him into a fury. And in the episode aired on Wednesday (July 3), Tom hatched a plan to further control Belle by convincing her to move to Wales, away from her support network, reports .
