To celebrate the upcoming Taylor Swift Eras Tour shows in Edinburgh, the city’s tram service has had a Swiftie makeover. On Wednesday, June 5, Edinburgh Trams revealed the service heading to the city’s Murrayfield Stadium - where the concerts are taking place - have been given a spruce up in true Taylor style. The trams now depicts the singer’s monochrome The Tortured Poets Department album cover - Swift’s latest studio album.
The official X account for Edinburgh Trams marked the occasion with a short clip of the tram travelling to and from the stadium. Edinburgh Trams wrote: “It’s me, hi, I’m TTPD tram, it’s me. The #TaylorSwift merchandise stand is open at @MurrayfieldStad.
If you’re travelling there by tram today, make sure you’ve got your tram tickets purchased or validated before you board! Look out for the Taylor Swift TTPD tram too #Erastour.” The video has been over 217,000 times, exciting fans across the nation. Susan said: “@Taylorswift13 look what you made @EdinburghTrams do.
