’ Charlie Brooks had fans swooning after she posed up a storm in a bikini. The actress, 43, shot to fame playing Janine Butcher on the One soap. Rocking up to Walford in 1999, it did not take long for Janine to become one of the soap’s most iconic characters.
Charlie’s portrayal of supervillain Janine bagged her a number of awards, including Villain of the Year at the British Soap Awards in 2004. Not to mention, she’s been involved in several big storylines over the years. From murder to affairs - Janine’s time on the show was not short of drama.
And it’s helped actress Charlie amass a loyal legion of fans too. And on Saturday (June 1) Charlie had her fans going wild after she posed up a storm in a bikini. Taking to her Instagram, the soap star uploaded a video from her sun-soaked trip away.
Looking sensational, Charlie rocked a strapless black bikini top. She styled it with white bikini bottoms and wore her honey-blonde tresses in a stylish bun. In the clip, Charlie could be seen shaking her hips while dancing, while later on Charlie lounged on an inflatable lilo in the crystal-blue swimming pool.
She captioned the post: “I never used to wear bikinis.. always felt too self-conscious of what I now consider my perfect imperfections.
The battle was real. I like to look after myself but I have to do what I know works for me. Being gentle with myself.
