Golfers at a golf club in Wales were left stunned last week when one of their members stumbled upon what he believed to be the remains of a human hand on the course. The discovery was made on Friday, tucked away in a rabbit hole near the 9th hole of Tenby Golf Club in Pembrokeshire. The golfer who found the suspected remains, informed the management of the club, who then contacted the police.

The vicinity around the 9th hole was sealed off by officers from Dyfed-Powys Police, who forwarded images of the remains to their headquarters for specialised analysis, reports WalesOnline. There was apprehension among the club's members and staff that the skeletal remains could indeed be human, as they bore a striking resemblance to a person's hand. However, despite initial tests proving inconclusive, crime scene investigators later confirmed that the bones were not human.
