Pixar returned to the theatres last week with Inside Out 2, which is being called a successful sequel to the 2015 hit film. The new release takes place a few years after the original as the main character Riley grows up into a teenager during her time off screen. This time we see a glimpse of her experiences in her adolescent years with more emotions she will have to experience, get to know and live with.
One of the biggest reactions to the second film's relatable depiction of anxiety, as well as the lesson of the film. Inside Out 2 is extremely relatable for all ages but especially for older viewers. It's more mature than the first, but that's a good thing.

However, with the sequel, we are also introduced to Anxiety, Envy, Embarrassment, Ennui and Nostalgia. As Anxiety mentions it is time for Riley to feel more nuance and complex emotions. The run time takes place during a weekend trip at a hockey camp .
