Dick and Angel Strawbridge have given a clear verdict on rumours their famous French castle has been sold. The married couple have wowed viewers over the years by giving them an insight into the transformation of their 19th-century chateau, having first moved in back in 2015. As they put their own mark on Chateau De La Motte Husson, the entire process was documented on the hit show Escape to the Chateau.

Not only is it now a beautiful family home, but a luxury wedding venue, and plenty more besides. A new series featuring Dick and Angel began on Channel 4 earlier this week. Secret France sees the married couple venture beyond their castle's gates to explore France's hidden gems, including food, unusual crafts and more.

And it appears their latest career move may have prompted rumours that their chateau has gone on the market, as Angel took to Instagram to clear things up on Monday evening. She said: ""Once and for all, we have 100% not sold the chateau. It is our forever home, it's never been up for sale.

It never will and everything that we do we put in place for Arthur and Dorothy and what, I guess what shocked me is this kind of like rumour it went worldwide I mean, completely. "So this is me asking you a favour. If you want to start a little rumour saying that we still live at the chateau and that we're gonna be here forever, I would personally really appreciate that.

" Dick added: "[But] it won't get the traction...

the selling of the chateau is not happening. Anybody who.
