A Devon family has paid a touching tribute to a beloved hairdresser. Jaimie Sullivan, who sadly lost her life earlier this year following a five-year battle with breast cancer, was honoured in a unique way by her family. On Saturday, July 13, her relatives organised an event that they believe 'she would have loved', which involved 23 family members getting identical tattoos in her memory.
Tattoo Topia in Plymouth's Frankfort Gate even provided stencil designs for the children, allowing them to participate and remember "the most beautiful and caring person". Jaimie, who worked as a hairstylist at David and David Hair Salon, tragically passed away in January from breast cancer at the age of 40. Shannon Evans, Jaimie's cousin, arranged the "long day of tattoos'' to bring the family together and honour Jaimie's memory.
Shannon, 31, had a close bond with her late cousin and described her as "the best". She said: "Jaimie was the most beautiful and caring person, she would do anything for anyone. She loved her big family and she would have loved us all getting the same tattoo.
" The memorial tattoos were inked on Saturday (July 13) at Tattoo Topia, with children receiving a stencil copy of the same design on the day, reports Plymouth Live . Two more of Jaimie's loved ones are yet to be tattooed, meaning a total of 25 family members will bear the same tattoo forever in memory of Jaimie. The small heart tattoo, with the initial J inside it, was embossed onto 23 people by apprentice tat.
