A swanky Mercedes limousine once owned by ex-Manchester United legend David Beckham has hit the market in Ireland. The 2001 Mercedes W220 S500 L was snapped up by Beckham in the same year, with the former England skipper personalising the motor with a private number plate flaunting his and wife Victoria's initials, B9DVB. Becks splashed out on one of the priciest models - the S500, kitted out with a 5.

0-litre V8 petrol engine. The 'L' signifies this model is even longer than the standard car, offering extra leg room. Now, this piece of automotive history could be yours for a cool €8,950.

The vehicle features sleek black leather upholstery, wooden accents on the dash and doors, and modern comforts such as Sat/Nav and even an original Mercedes Nokia phone. Adding to its chic look are AMG alloy wheels. It's also fitted with electric seats both front and rear, along with rear blinds and a rear table for those on-the-go snacks during a long journey.

Other features include a multi-functional steering wheel, cruise control, and rear TV enterta.
