When you think of Greece the first thing that comes to mind after the beautiful beaches and beautiful ancient history is the ultimate Greek street food, the gyro.

The Greek salad is the center of the Mediterranean diet with its fresh romaine, tomatoes, red onions, cucumbers, pepperoni peppers, Kalamata olives, green peppers, stuffed grape leaves, feta cheese and grilled pita points. How’s it made? The gyro is made right off the the traditional gyro spit, sliced thinly to capture all of its flavor, then put into a golden brown grilled pita, with tzatziki sauce, tomatoes, lettuce and red onions. Price of the dish? $11.

99 for the gyro and $14.99 for the Greek salad What does it taste like? Like Aphrodite herself came down from the heavens and kissed you. The gyro is an explosion of flavor blended with the freshest toppings .
