Daithi O Se has taken to Instagram to share a hair transplant update 18 months after going under the knife. The Rose of Tralee fan favourite transformed his grey hair in the run-up to Christmas back in 2022 by getting work done on his hairline. Daithi had the procedure performed at the Cosmetic and Hair Restoration Clinic at the Bon ­Secours Hospital in Tralee, Co Kerry .

Since having the procedure performed, the clinic has been sharing regular updates on RTÉ Today star’s progress with his new luscious locks in a series titled Daithi Diaries. On Wednesday, the Cosmetic and Hair Restoration Clinic posted a video, which Daithi reposted on his main grid, of him speaking to the camera at various points over the last year and a half. The video begins with Daithi showing off the immediate results of the transplant, which left him with much shorter hair than usual, showing the red areas of his head which he was allowing to heal.



A post shared by Cosmetic&HairRestorationClinic (@chrc_bonsecours) With the progress already clear to see a month in, Daithi said: ‘In the last month or so I’ve noticed that the hairline in front has a beautiful line and a beautiful definition to him. It’s really filled out as well which is fantastic.’ Nine months after getting the transplant, an exuberant Daithi said he was ‘absolutely delighted’ and was even being told by people that he was ‘looking younger’.
