A young boy killed in a Coventry hit-and-run was remembered this weekend when Coventry City played Leamington FC . Players paid a poignant tribute to the 12-year-old, who died after being struck by a BMW on Radford Road. Parents Clint and Louise and brothers Kai and Keanu led both sides out as Leamington FC played Coventry City XI in a pre-season friendly on Saturday (July 13).

Organisers described the game as a 'fitting way to come together to remember Keaton.' Ahead of kick-off, the two teams and the 552 people in attendance paid their respects to young Sky Blues fan Keaton, who was killed in a hit-and-run on Friday, June 14. Fans at Your-Co-Op Community Stadium fell silent as they paid tribute to the 12-year-old, who was remembered for being 'beautiful and fun-loving.

Dad Clint thanked Leamington FC and described the support they had received as 'amazing.' Detectives are continuing to follow lines of inquiry in relation to Dolars Aleksanders, who is suspected of causing death by dangerous driving, West Midlands Police said.

Crimestoppers has also used a reward of up to £10,000 for information that leads to the arrest of the 21-year-old who originates from Latvia. In June, Louise and Clint made a direct plea for information from the public to assist the investigation, and told Aleksanders to 'do the right.
