“The name was changed in 2020. The company is on its third name since 1966. The company was known as Clear Springs Trout Co.

(1966-91), Clear Springs Foods Inc. (1991-2020), and Riverence Provisions LLC (2020-present).” The company operates in Buhl.

“Clear Springs Foods Inc. was previously owned by the Clear Springs Foods ESOP. An ESOP is an employee stock ownership plan.

In 2019, the ESOP decided to sell 100 percent of its stock and after evaluating multiple companies that expressed interest the ESOP selected Riverence Holdings LLC. The ESOP was dissolved after it paid out the proceeds from the sale to the employees. As a result, Riverence Holdings LLC has owned 100 percent of Riverence Provisions LLC since 2020,” said the release.

Riverence Holdings and its subsidiaries are a group of privately owned aquaculture companies based in Washington and Idaho. Riverence Holdings LLC oversees the overarching vision and direction for the Riverence Group and houses the R&D.
