Local tourism also experienced growth, with local tourist arrivals increasing by 12.9% to 283,185 and overnight stays by local tourists rising 8.9% to 618,917.
In 2023, foreign tourist arrivals to Croatia totaled 16.855 million, a 10% increase from the previous year. Tourism remains a critical industry for Croatia, contributing one-fifth of the country’s GDP.
